Subdual Coup de Grace

Actaully, I think it can. The general rule is that to deal subdual damage witha weapon that does normal damage or normal damage with a weapon that does subdual damage, you make an attack with a penalty of -4 to the attack roll.

AFAIK, this rule applies to saps. You can do normal damage with one... you just have less of a chance to deal any damage.

Once again, a sap cannot deal lethal damage at all. It is specifically made not to. Though I might be wrong, I really don't think so.

Well, you are wrong. I checked the PHB, and I'm right. All weapons can do the other type of damage by taking a -4 penalty to the attack roll. Saps are no exception. Page 135 PHB.
From the PHB, page 135, "Normal Damage with a Weapon that Deals Subdual Damage"
You can use a weapon that deals subdual damage, including an unarmed strike, to deal normal normal damage instead, but you suffer a -4 penalty on your attack roll because you have to strike only in the most vulnerable areas to cause normal damage.

Doh! :o I should have known that. Mostly because I know you can deal leathal damage with a sneak attack when using a sap, it's just harder.
