Now yes, this is Pathfinder and so in terms of specific rules is different however what is an absolute gold mine for you are the comments from all the judges on crafting a publishable adventure (James Jacobs/Sean K Reynolds and Ryan Dancey amongst other excellent judges). Considering the high esteem that Paizo adventure modules are generally held in, I think this might be a beneficial source for you that you might not have come across yet. It will get you thinking in the mindset of someone looking to publish your adventure; even though it is obviously for a different system, all these guys were an important cog at wizards at one point or another.
