There was also an Antagonists book mentioned. I imagine a combination of NPCs, monsters and other threats.

If the videogame is going to be delayed until next year, wouldn't it be more prudent to release something other than the above book (which is based on said delayed videogame)?mcrow said:So far this is what is in the works
Force Unleashed Campaign Guide:11/2007
The Emperor has swept away the last vestiges of the Old Republic. Darth Vader and his dark apprentice hunt down the surviving Jedi one by one, but a few escape capture and find refuge on backwater worlds. Fewer still reach deep into the Force, unleashing powers beyond their wildest imaginings. Meanwhile, other brave heroes rise to oppose the tyranny of the Empire, heralding the birth of the Rebellion.
This campaign guide draws its inspiration from The Force Unleashed, a revolutionary new video game from Lucasfilm, Ltd. It presents a complete campaign setting during the period between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. The guide offers exciting new character options and Force powers for players as well as adventure content, campaign seeds, and ready-to-play adversaries for Gamemasters.
Unfortunately, they don't want to put the minis line on hiatus and released all RPG product this year. It would pissed off the overwhelming number of SWM fans (the odds are against the roleplayers 5-to-1).Acid_crash said:And the GM Screen and Character sheets should be released within a month of the main book, not 8 months afterwards. That's just stupid and bad.

Acid_crash said:Yeah yeah, I know. It sucks for us rpgers.
I just don't know why they can't get an agreement for more rpg books and keep the minis line... after all, it would only boost their profits in the long run, right?
Skywalker said:I thought the license was for at least X products a year. It seems strange to me that they would have a cap, especially considering the number of RPG products announced for next year. The delay is simply due to the late adoption of the designer and decision to support the main book.
While Lucas was touted as a good businessman in the good ole days, he didn't pay much attention to the RPG market at the time. Because of his ignorance, WEG got the license cheap.Acid_crash said:I mean, WEG was able to release one to two star wars books a month when they had the license. I miss the good ole days. :sigh:
