Succubus Energy Drain

So, the rules about the Succubus energy drain says:

If the target is not willing to be kissed, the succubus must start a grapple, which provokes an attack of opportunity.

Now, what exactly does this mean? That once the Succubus has grappled her opponent, she can automatically kiss for a negative level drain? If that's the case, then it seems the only qualifier is for there to be a grapple. If that's the case, can the succubus kiss her target if she's been grappled?

It's very nebulous as to exactly how this works and some clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I add the kiss to the list of things she can do with a successful grapple.

If her opponent grapples her, she has not made a successful grapple and thus cannot yet kiss.
If her opponent initiates the grapple, and she ignores or misses the opportunity attack, and she wins the check; she is not grappling and cannot kiss.
While if she loses the grapple check, she is grappling; but has not made a successful check and cannot kiss.

Once she is grappling, she only needs a successful grapple check to energy drain/suggestion (kiss). And a failed save vs. the suggestion could negate the grapple (they let go and stop resisting) yet allow another kiss.
