After much compiling from the archives and Enemies and Allies, I still wasn't happy with what I had - L5 and L10 versions won't help much when you're trying to decide if a creature is CR7 or CR8.So I wound up making a character of each core class from level 1-20, equipped as a PC and with feats and spells already selected (unlike the ones in the DMG) - and, since I do think there's a need for them, decided to release them as PDFs. The original title for the series was the "New Iconics"; we went with "Elites" instead, since we wanted the flexibility to do some out-there concepts as well (iconic fighter, sure, but iconic prankster bard/barbarian/shadowdancer?).Each PDF will have a character sheet, a stat card, a back-story, and random generators to determine fun things like what happened to the character in the process of gaining each level and what one-shot items they might have at a certain level.
