The adventuring party that I GM for, lead by a dwarf and rather elf heavy will probably soon be attending the wedding of the party's only human member. The bride is an orc. This came about by misadventure after the party was conned into guarding a caravan of "medical" supplies through the territory of some "Plains orcs". (Who oddly enough have sunlight sensitivity and ride horses that don't have dark vision...) They party got separated from the wagons after a raid (wanted to kill the escaping raiders before they could tell the other orcs where the caravan was), and the wagons were captured along with the teamsters. During the later rescue of the teamsters the contents of the wagons were burned and the party, along with the orcs, got caught in an LSD cloud....Magic users and psions tripping on acid during a battle.....The next morning, the Human rouge/bard woke up in the embrace of his new fiancee, whom in the purple haze he had mistaken for the parties NPC human Healer. Since then, he has accepted an engagement gift from her, a map to a treasure cache/dungeon crawl that they completed, and then he went off on a "Buddy movie" side quest with the elf sorceror to take and purposly fail the rumored "Ork test of manhood". During this quest, purposely passed the orc test of courage, and accidentally completed the orc shaman initiation, and step 3 of the orc chieftain test. Then the sorc accidentally baleful polymorphed himself into a bullfrog (gypsy wagon, old lady, hick accent, sales you the kit to conduct the sacrificial ritual the evil wizard told you about, free sample of what was brewing in the cauldron...), so he captured some kolbolds to sacrifice on top of "The devils' Tower" on the new moon to summon something unspecified for unspecified benefits of the type that make evil wizards smile in the hopes that one of these benefits will be his buddy no longer going "rebit". (we played a 2 player session over memorial day, off module, rolling encounters at random, so things got a bit odd). So he draws the pentagram on top of the mountain, places the bound kobolds inside, puts the frog and the weasel familiar at 2 points, stands at the third, lights the candles and waits.... When the aliens finished with them, the frog was an elf again, albeit with a leopard frog skin pattern and big webbed feet, the weasel turned into a auravorax (it's got how many hit die? it's natural armor is +11! Cool! My familiar kicks @$$! Wait...it eats gold?!?!?!?!!?), and the Rouge can now change forms into a 1/2 orc and then to a orc and back again. After viewing the orc girl in orc form and finding out that, in orc terms, she looks like "Jessica Alba at 15" he has gurgeingly accepted the impending marriage. So now I have to plan a wedding....I'm imagining these orcs as comanche like, but still orcs. I'm thinking maybe it should be a bit like a cross between DS9 "You are cordially invited" and "Guess who's coming to dinner". Any suggestions?
