Polycon (The gaming club/convention associated with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo) is holding a one-day gaming event in Santa Maria, CA (a bit south of the halfway point between LA and the Bay Area on US 101). Here's our announcement:
Hey folks,
Polycon is having our Summer Games Day, and you're all invited. The event is Saturday, August 12th, and runs from 10 in the morning to 10 at night. It's being held in the Community Room of the Santa Maria Town Center. That's on the second level, across from orange julius. Admission is $5, (or free if you help out by running a game).
Driving Directions to Santa Maria Town Center:
Highway 101 North & Southbound
Take Highway 101 to Santa Maria, exit at Main Street (Highway 166 West) and head west 0.5 miles. Santa Maria Town Center is located on the left at the corners of Main St. & Miller St., Main St. & Broadway, Broadway & Cook St., and Cook St. & Miller St. Abundant parking surrounds the Center.
