My party is travelling from Mittendein to Kinrisar through Thoradur to Ceomyr and the ocean, then by boat. Along the way I'd like to tie into current events there if possible, or maybe help develop them Alternative to random encounters, you know. Any thoughts?

Summer in Ceomyr will see the peak of the warring factions duking it out. It's a very dangerous place to be. The upstarts in this fight will eventually lose due to the 'hired gun's' his magesty has hired. Strangers may be suspect of being of these hired guns. Whether people can play this up to their advantage in purchases or negotiations or whether they fall victim of violence or even death threats. Tales of bloodshed, mayhem and magical abuses will be heard near where the troop movements are. Travel will be difficult as the roads will be war torn. Rumors of young men and strangers being conscripted into the armies are told. It's not known if these stories are true... on either side.
