Shouldn't you not be reprinting like whole sections of the Mind's Eye from Wizards?  But anyway, that's just a nitpick.Really, I find nothing wrong with the way summoning is now.  If anything, I'd use a Prestige Class instead of a core class.  Demonologist and.. the ... other one... they might have a new, smaller spell list, but they summon bigger and better demons with lower level spells (I think they can get up to Summon Monster list IX demons with their highest level spells.. which I think are 5th level).Your caller looks to me like a shaper with the Constructor prestige class all rolled into a single unit.  I don't really know if I'd do it this way... it might throw game balance off a bit (or require work) but I would rather see a Summoner type person that uses a different method than the standard Summon Monster-esque abilities.  Perhaps more along the line of the Planar Ally spells, though with stronger and weaker versions stretched throughout their levels... and a much longer duration and number of uses per day.  Yeah... I think i might try to do that....</blockquote>
