of course, a length of understanding is important in matters like this. i'm sure he'd have some funny comments on my spanish. the problem isn't actually arising from his english competency, it's coming from his forum etiquette which exists in any language. the benefit of a great site like this is the interaction with other fans of the hobby. instead of pouring over the books or sifting through google results, you can have helpful people give you tailored answers as well as personal stories and lessons gleaned from playing the game.
there aren't any english translations of the game, so i'm guessing he can read english at the level of the books are written at. this is more than enough comprehension to not act like an entitled robot when dealing with us fine folk. i love talking about gaming, but maritimeo really doesn't make any effort to be part of the community besides fishing it for easily found answers. it's natural to rush the the defense of someone you perceive as being treated unfairly, but respect is a two way street =].
