Great, thanks!

I voted based on the "survive" idea as in "if I were starting up a campaign tomorrow, what systems would immediately come to mind to use?" And for that there are three + D&D*. One of those systems is my own, so I didn't vote for that ;) while another (Legend in the Mist) is very new and likely doesn't qualify as a 'system' yet. Picked what's adjacent to it to get my 3 (including the D&D edition).

* D&D for me has so many ingrained tropes and specificities that it is its own genre for me.

I think I have the 1 lonely vote for the d6 system, but I had to support a game engine that’s given me so much fun from the 90s to today.
(My other 2 picks were Daggerheart and 4e, the latter of which I know also won’t win. Almost went for Shadowdark, but that probably won’t need help from me 😁)

Voted for WoD since i love that system and it can do multiple genres and game types. D&D 5e cause i need one version of d&d. Third spot was one rules light game, and Mork Borg wasn't on the list.

Question: Why are 3.5 and 5 ed D&D separate? Personally, i think they are way more alike then different.

I have never played Mork Borg. I assumed it was an OSR game ala OSE. But added.

I think the existence of and ongoing popularity of Pathfinder 1E made it a reasonable thing to differentiate.
