While I have no problem whatsoever with a monk/cleric/SF concept, I do with your choice of god. Shaundakul is C/N. Now, in reading up on him, that's not nearly as much of an issue as I thought it would be; he leans much more towards good over evil in his neutrality. If you were just a (hopefully L/G!) monk who happened to worship a...chaotic neutral god...I might have allowed it. But clerics are their god's direct servants. (Also, rules-wise, they must be within one step of their god's alignment.) I just can't see your char actively being a cleric of a C/N god. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to require you pick a different god, preferably a L/G or N/G one. One piece of good news though is that you can consider that whole 'monks never being able to raise monk again after raising another class' nonsense to be houseruled out. (You still suffer MC penalties to xp--if any--as usual, of course.) And I would (strongly!) recommend two levels of monk to qualify for the Sacred Fist PrC.</p><p></p><p>No worries Dr. Anomalous. These things happen. But with the above info in mind, and since you stated you didn't have a preference, I'm going to ask you to create the party's thief-type char. If you have the Complete Adventurer, you might want to look at the Scout; I've seen it and like the concept. (If you do take the scout though, I'm going to need you to write it up and email it to me, as I don't actually have the book.) If you prefer bards, I would be happy to houserule out that silly only-rogues-can-handle-over-20-DC bit for the relevant skills. And MCing and PrCing is of course fine (always assuming I approve the PrCs), so long as the important skills are covered. Just trying to give you as many options as possible, if the rogue doesn't appeal. : ) --And if you find yourself setting your heart on a priest concept after all, that's fine too--just please let me know as soon as you do, k?</p><p></p><p>Voadam, one thing occurs to me I should mention in advance, if you're going with a wildshape-spec'd concept: I tend to take a hard line with magic item use while wildshaped, i.e. nothing can be used at all. The druid is powerful enough as it is! If this is a big issue for you, we can probably work out some sort of compromise, and existing SRD rules that modify magic item use (like the Wild option for armour) are of course fine--but regardless, keep in mind you will likely never be able to use the majority of your magic items while wildshaped.</p><p></p><p>Sorrow, I have something you're going to like! You can use <a href="http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=116376" target="_blank">this</a> to create your char if you want.</p><p></p><p>And finally, Two-Gun, a caution. While I think the Earth Genasi is *way* too weak for a +1 LA, I also think it's slightly overpowered for no adjustment at all. That's why I'm saying you will need to roleplay the racial flavour text to the hilt; consider that an additional restriction I'm imposing to compensate for the slightly stronger benefits this now-0LA-race provides. --And note that you are not necessarily stupid, just somewhat slower in thought. Nor are you necessarily slow in movement or reflexes--your base speed is 30 feet and you have no dex penalty--just somewhat 'ponderous' when you do things. If you'd rather play a different personality type, I might be able to hack and slash some abilities out--but if that's the case, I'd rather you play a different race. Just making that clear, just in case.</p><p></p><p>One last thing for everyone, and then I'm posting this: since I'm running a series of modules for this campaign anyways, and since those modules give guidelines as to what the characters' levels should be throughout, I'm thinking I'm just not going to post xp per encounter at all. I'm still going to keep track of awarded xp (just in case) on a general basis, but levelling will most likely happen at key moments ('you just defeated the sub-boss! You all gain a level!) and there will be no individual xp awarded (so everyone in the party will always be the same level, barring level draining effects of course). I'm not firm on this tho, so I wanted your feedback on the idea first. But unless you're all totally opposed to it, that's what I'll do.</p></blockquote><p></p>
