Hello...
I've recently begun running D&D again. I have not touched the fantasy genre for years, and felt it was time to come back to my roots as it were. I decided to run the published adventures. I don't have the time to throw anything worth playing together right now, and I figured these would give my players a good foundation for the game.
I know these adventures were written for 3rd edition, but thus far the conversions to 3.5 have been mostly minor. I did have a question though. There is a sword, Shatterspike, in the adventure... I'm not 100% solid on the rules thus far, but I'm thinking that 3.5 has changed some of the mechanics the sword is based on (i.e. Sunder is no longer a feat). Will the sword work as written (simply ignoring the fact that you don't have to have the feat to use the weapon), or does it require some updating to comply with 3.5 and still be a suitable item of treasure for this adventure?
Thanks to anyone who can offer some advice. I'd hate to throw a gamebreaker into my newly started campaign just because I'm a little greeen so far as the rules go.
