Supernova in D&D??

Has anyone out there run a campaign based on, or similar to, the 'Supernova' movie (the ambulance in space)?

No, but it would certainly be a good format for a game... The party bouncing around as emergency trouble-shooters, dealing with all manner of extraterrestrial hazards.

Are you meaning D&D? or d20 Future / Traveller 20?

I have Supernova in DVD. It's a mediocre sci-fi film. There was the basis for a much more interesting story, but in the end it's relatively simplistic... I think it could work in a d20 Future / T20 campaign, but there should be more than just medics onboard. PCs could be involved in helping people also from threats (aliens, etc.).

In this movie, I much like the Faster Than Light travel mode.

Agreed about the FTL drive. Much more dramatic than a teleport. Then again, a teleport can only take you to places you know about...
