I am a pro. 1. Healing is not buffing. 2. Healing is better done with wands than with spell slots. 3. Higher level spells = more death to your enemies = less need for healing. That last one is the major point. If you want to buff, you're better off using higher level spells. You are seriously delayed getting higher level spells with Mystic Theurge. This is a problem since higher level spells are much better than lower level spells. You're already behind the curve in spell acquisition as a sorcerer, you're even further behind as a MT. Oh, and you also need a high wisdom score to cast your divine spells. Great. At least you can get an extremely varied pool of spells known from your cleric side... which will be four levels out of date at best since you start off your career as a Mystic Theurge as a Cleric3/Sorcerer4 at the earliest. Unless you use a cheesy early entry trick, of course. When you reach your first level of Mystic Theurge, you're slinging around 2nd level spells while a straight sorcerer has access to Polymorph, Haste, and Mass Enlarge Person, and a straight cleric is using Death Ward, Magic Vestment, and Freedom of Movement. Both get spells like Greater Magic Weapon. And the cleric can dispense more healing. Sorcerer could too, if she cross classed a few skill points into UMD and picked up some wands. Believe what you want to believe. I'm of the opinion that if MT was as useful as you say, optimizers would use it more. Before you go off about how optimizers are not team players, I know many who enjoy buffing and building buffing oriented builds. Few use Mystic Theurge - well, unless early entry tricks are involved, but most people consider them cheesy and avoid them in real life games. At what point have I "done" the bard? You seem to have confused me with someone else. Also, you seem to be taking it personally.
