Survivor 5-6-04 (Spoilers)

I know there's a few Survivor afficionados on this board, and I'm surprised there's not a thread 48 hours after the second to last episode (Survivor's last episode is Sunday). I just watched it last night.

With THAT out of the way...

Who's gonna win ? I know I'm rooting for Rupert, but Rob and Amber really played their cards right. If they're the final two, Amber will probably get it (too many people have been crossed by Rob), but what diff does it make if Rob and Amber marry ? Rob will still have gotten it.

My wife unit despises that guy, and I understand her. He was very condecending to women the first time around. I wanted Lex to win, because he's natural, cool, and straightforward. I hated what Rob did to him.

Also, they were talking about a big surprise at the gathering show: I'm thinking Amber is pregnant with Rob's baby.

Okay, I'll bite.

I actually think they(they being Rob and Amber) made a tactical error in voting off big Tom. The vote for the final three is now down between two two person alliances. If Amber doesn't win immunity she's gone, since she already has the most (3 or 4 I beleive) votes against her. Which then forces Rob to win immunity to go to the final two, seeing as how the last challenge is always a pateince/pain/endurance test and these are just about Rob's weakest area (Rupert has performed well in these kinds of tests) he may have shot himself in the foot. At that point Rupert takes Rob with him to the final two (if he's smart) trusting that Rob's ethics win him (Rupert that is) the million.

Of course the above assumes that A) Rupert and Jenna hold their alliance together and B) Rob doesn't take immunity next and give it to Amber.

But then as Mr Probst likes to say It's still anybodie's game

Big time, but they had actually backed themselves into that corner. Rob should realize that his only chance at this point is to be in the final two opposite Amber and then play the "She doesn't deserve it, I carried her this far" speech in hopes of swaying people he betrayed.

Absolutely. You're right about the tie knocking out Amber, which is why I think she'll get the immunity if either her or Rob win it. Don't rule out Jenna either, I don't think that anybody would have predicted that she'd make it this far, and she can certainly SMELL the money at this point. Like most people, I'm hoping for Rupert, which is why I think Rob and Amber will try to sway Jenna into voting for him if he doesn't get immunity. I'm still hoping that Rupert, Jenna and Amber hatched up a "Rob Goes At Four" plan when they had that overnight together.

I was hoping they voted off amber, ... that would have broken nearly any chance he [Rob] would have had at the end.

I'm stay waiting for the twist at the end ... b/c so far it looks like Rob & Amber ... Rob & Amber, and once again Rob & Amber ...
