Last night's ep is just another reason that this is the best Survivor in years. The first big switcharoo. And then the second, all in one night. It's really good to finally see some players actually PLAY THE GAME. Greg went with feelings outside the game and got burned. If he was smart he would have taken Ian as the third person, knowing that Ian and Tom have an alliance and a tight bond. Tom, Ian and Caryn played it perfectly. Not to mention having huge balls-o-steel. Pedal to the metal, they were willing to risk chance versus getting voted off one by one. Hoo-boy, does this ever put Caryn in a great spot. If she can somehow get either of the girls with her to the finals she can take it all home. I would, of course, hate that as Tom or Ian have played a better game but it wouldn't shock me. But then again, she has been "tanking" the challenges pretty hard lately. I smell a ruse. Jen is screwed almost any way you slice it. Unless she shows something huge in the next few days or manages to be with Katie in the finals she can't win the mil. She'll get killed by anyone else (okay, with Caryn it could be close). What I will be watching for next week: How long they stick with the potential women's alliance? Will either Tom or Ian decide to turn or start to plant more seeds with the remaining women (Tom is allied with Caryn and Ian with Katie)? If the girls were smart, they'd team up and get rid of one of the big 2. They most likely can't get rid of both as they are both tough in the challenges. But Caryn hasn't been too tight with either of the girls as of yet, plus she knows that Jen is the next one on the block unless she wins immunity. We just went from good to better. I thought that I would lose a ton of interest after Steph got voted off. Nothing could be further from the truth. Gregg getting voted off was terribly satisfying.
