It was a calculated risk. I don't think he realized (until it was too late and then he just became more pissy) that Steph would be so well liked. And credit her with playing a low profile. She knew what she was doing. She's been playing the game the longest. She told all the girls exactly what he said and that, at least for now, will buy her a little trust. Steph is the biggest threat in the game and will continue to be so. She has good-will with almost the whole tribe, she is a physical threat (good aim, good endurance, recall what all the final challenges are) and she has been playing the strategy game for 22 days where everyone else has just started. She stabbed Angie in the back and she never saw it coming. She'll do it to the rest, too. I just hope no one realizes it until they are all in the jury. :) I dissagree. It wasn't a dumb move at all. Getting one person on your side just to further alienate yourself from the rest isn't smart, that's just playing it safe. He played a great game until he started whining and speaking up too much. Um, ok. We'll just agree to disagree. We are starting to see some flaws in both of them and that is fun because we've only seen victory and hugs so far. This, I agree with. Yeah, it's a "strategy" to sit around and conserve energy to fly under the radar long enough to become a threat but it is a lame one. I'm hoping that the weak go first. The only real weak one left is Janu followed by Katie. She has contributed nothing as well. The rest have shown some cajones at one point or another along the way.
