SW Clone Wars on Cartoon Network

Dragonblade

Anybody watching these? Personally, I think they are awesome! I have been impressed by the stylized "Samurai Jack" style animation, the cool fights, the badass ARC troopers, etc. They are a lot more fun and in some ways even feel more like traditional SW than the prequels themselves.

Does anyone know if Lucas is going to release all of them on DVD as a compilation or something? I would buy it in a heartbeat.

You can download all of them as they are released from cartoon network's website.

What does everyone else think?

Yes, they are gonna be released on DVD as a compilation.

Yes, they rule.

Yes, I hope to see one like this(although hopefully longer, like a normal series length) done on the Great Sith War.

Amazing. I don't get Cartoon Network so, that's amazing.

That would be even better. Or, maybe the other battle of the Rebellion, or the NJO, but that was covered in the books, though...

Well so was the Great Sith War(covered in the graphic novels, anyway), but I'd still love to see it done up.

Who would you see as the voice talents for Exar Kun, Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma, and Nomi Sunrider?

Also, you can watch the cartoon at cartoonnetwork.com mojo, wasn't sure if you were aware that you needn't wait for the DVD(which won't be for awhile).

All right, but still... DVD...

I watched the first 5 chapters last night. Very cool stuff. I like the fact that there's a heavier emphasis on the action rather than the exposition. If the prequels had been done that way they might have turned out better.

I especially like the droid lancers. So far nothing in there has topped seeing a phalanx of droid bikers with lances taking apart the Grand Army of the Republic.

It's been quite cool so far and I'm looking forward to the 21st when they show the first 10 episodes in two half-an-hour parts. I think sometime in the spring they are supposed to show the second half.

I loved seeing the Republic ships landing on Mon Cal and the underwater fighting.

It's really getting me in the mood to game during the Clone Wars. :)

So can someone provide a link to where I can download/view them? I've finally got broadband (ain't no way I'm going back to an unreliable dial-up!!!), and that means I can actually watch these things! :)
