As the appointed hour approaches, Captain DeVrees enters the common room to personally escort you to The Queen's quarters. The Captain tries to make some small talk as he walks you to a room upstairs but it is clear he is not used to such duties and you almost feel bad for him being so far out of his element tonight. "The Queen never takes room at an Inn but she wanted to make every effort for you to feel at ease and when we discovered several of you oft frequent this...establishment, she truly put us all on our ears when she instructed us to make this our base of operations during our time here. Never seen anything like it I haven't...but then again, nothing like this has ever happened before so I guess it's all as it should be. Kenabres is a very different city now...whereas before the attack it boasted a population of 12,300 souls, it barely has 6,520 now, even after some who fled have returned. It just feels broken...empty." After ascending the inn's staircase and passing several guards who quickly hide various military contraband when they see their Captain, they quickly stiffen to attention and hold their stare straight ahead.
