[SWSE] Any other options than minis for representing spacecraft out there?

Sorry if this is an old question that's already been addressed, but I thought this would be a great place to ask.

I've just recently started to run a SWSE campaign, and I want to include vehicular combat into the game (for those players who're chomping at the bit to play Ace Pilots).

However, I'm broke, and from what I understand, the SW spaceship mini line has been discontinued (so I really don't want to hunt down & try to invest in that line if that's the case).

So, I was wondering if there's any web resources out there (official or fan-made) for this purpose: starship-scale ship tokens/cutouts about the right size for SWSE vehicular combat rules, for example.

On a related note, is there any (official or fan-made) full-scale maps for ship layouts, esp. larger (frigate) ships and the like?

I'd appreciate any info/links/advice/etc. you can provide.

Colonial Chrome are the images I use for my counters. Set them up in one inch squares (or larger for bigger ships), print them out and get them laminated. They work like a charm.

Just went through the WOTC Starwars Battles site and the message board and saw nothing that said the line was discontinued. Anyone else heard this?

Actually, I thought I saw an announcement about a second set sometime later this year.

In addition to the WotC sculpted minis, WizKids put out a game using punch-out ships that you need to assemble yourself. It's cheaper than the WotC game, but the peices are less durable, and there's a smaller (still randomized) selection. Then again, they've still got most of the cool stuff from the movies--and I can still live without cloakshape fighters and Hapan Battledragons. The starter (which includes a star destroyer, an imperial shuttle, two x-wings, four tie-fighters, and a bunch of cards that you dont' care about if you don't play the TCG) retails for $15.
