Mos Eisley, Tatooine Chalmun's Cantina Originally designed as a blockhouse against the frequent raids of the Tusken Raiders, this building was used as an armory when people were just starting to settle on Tatooine. It's central location has been a boon to smugglers, bounty hunters, and others with business deals that must be conducted quickly. Now, the cantina is place to meet freighter pilots who handle "special" cargo. Chalmun - Chalmun is a large wookie who bought the building with gambling profits made on Ord Mantell. For some reason Chalmun, has an intense hatred for droids. Wuher - Wuher, the bartender, is a non-communicative, ill-tempered local human that knows when to keep his mouth shut. Custom's Office Ostensibly, the customs office is supposed to prevent the smuggling of illegal goods and guarentee tat all products are properly taxed. In practice, customs officials spend more time collecting bribes then confiscating goods. Customs Inspector Putten Beatus - This near human middle aged female with grey skin and large ears has attracted quite a few stares over the years. She is gruff, demanding, and abrasive. She does have a few close friends; everyone else is greeted with boundless hostility. Grep's Grill and Spaceport Express Less a group of established businesses, and more of a Gundark-flea market. This is the spot where free enterprise agro farmers come to sell their produce and fledgling businesses go to start trade. Grep's grill is run by two whipids, Fillin Ta and Norun Gep and serve Bantha Burgers and Dewback ribs. Spaceport Express is ran by a Quarren by the name of Omon Gantum. This is a larger scale messenger service servicing most of Tatooine. Kayson's Weapon Shop Kayson's store has benn in business for decades, providing personal armaments for anyone that has credits. The interior walls are literally covered in new and used, ancient and modern weapons. Almost anything of a personal nature can be found, but heavy artillery is unavailable. There are some rumors that he is able to get weaponry off the black market also. Kayson - Kayson is a grizzled alien with at rocious manners and a seemingly sour disposition. His greatest asset is his ability to keep his thoughts to himself when dealing with customers. Lucky Despot The Lucky Despot, in its original incarnation, was a battered cargo hauler. Today it serves as an hotel, not kept up with by its current owner, 'Lady Valarian'. Lady Valarian - The daughter of two gangsters, she achieved a criminal record early and has moved up into the big leagues. She now uses the former hotel as a base of operations for her criminal empire. Lup's General Store This establishment is actually named Wares and Supplies, but most everyone knows it as "Lup's General Store." Kal Lup and her husband run the store, and despite their wolf-like appearance (Shivasten), they are both friendly and helpful. The store contains provisions, supplies, and a smattering of machinery. Mos Eisley Police Office Prefect Eugene Talmont - A slight-built wiry man of medium height with quite an obvious toupee. He is full of himself and misjudges his importance. He has become obsessed with finding a way off this planet when it was explained to him his predecessor was assassinated. Lt. Harburik - A large well-muscled man normally wearing an armored blast vest. He would be devastatingly handsome except for the vicious look in his eyes. Crass, rude and cruel are the highpoints of his personality. Spaceport Speeders This shop, southeast of Docking Bay 94 is an unassuming affair. It offers a motley collection of speeders of all shapes, sizes, and degrees of repair., and the occasional oddball speederbike or sub-orbital craft. In additional to sales, they also rent and repair vehicles. Unut Poll - This Arconan propreiter has his apartment below the shop. Unut has an excellent reputation within the city, even if he is stingy with his credits. Geordi Hans - A young orphan looked after by Unut since he was six years old. He loves to spend his time tinkering on his personal speeder, and is quite the mechanic.
