Who else here is looking forward to all (or more likely, at least part) of this annual tradition? :)

While I won't be able to watch a large chunk of the marathon, it's still cool to be able to record and watch certain favorite episodes (though I also always seem to find an episode or two that I'd never seen or that I hadn't seen in a long time). Also, if one still can't go to sleep after returning from a New Year's party, the marathon provides perhaps the only good thing to watch that late at night after the New Year's shows have long since ended.

It's a great throw back to the early days of the Sci-Fi channel, back when syndicated reruns made up most of their programming.

Funny, but I didn't realize how much I miss that stuff (and hate the Ghost Hunters and WWE bullcrap) until I watched the SyFy 20th anniversary special where they talked about how the channel has "grown".

I don't mind Ghost Hunters all that much- I don't watch it, though- but wrestling on SyFy has to be one of the worst partnering of station and demographic I have over seen. I haven't looked at the numbers, but I bet that if the WWE is doing well, its because wrestling fans will go wherever the show is. It would do just as well on Hallmark.

Had a blast- even saw one I had never seen before, "Ring-A-Ding Girl."

Also, episodes like "The Howling Man" and "The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank" reminded me of just how rich a mine this show is for RPG adventures and PC concepts.
