Thick appendages reach forward, rippling at their edges as they contact the stones, and pull the bulk of its body forward. But at all times, no matter what its shape, two questing tentacles twitch spasmodically in the air above the creature.</p><p></p><p>More important than this immediate impression is that it is writhing directly towards Midias and Peladus, no more than ten feet to their west.[/sblock][sblock=Pendrake] For a moment, you think you see... no, your eyes are playing tricks on you.[/sblock][sblock=Quozen]Again your vision clears, or you re-learn the trick of seeing the creature.
