[sblock=orsal, IVV, scott]OOG: my apologies, I have been less clear than I could have been. Let's see if I can fix that. From Ngikhnit's position, he's looking at this: topdown: ; side on: ; isometric: Quozen (blue) is on the ground; Pendrake (red) is just a bit above 10 feet from the ground, just out of Quozen's ~8 ft vertical reach, though within Ngikhnit's. Strictly, he's in the (bottom of the) third 5 ft cube up; these cubes are out of reach from the ground for purposes of attacking, without throwing something or using a reach weapon (hint? :p). The creature (buff) was up and left one cube of Pendrake when it attacked, but moved down(ish). How far is unknown... it disappears as part of its move, so it's not possible to see exactly where it goes. I've been a little sneaky - the post is centred on the intersection of four squares. That means all the squares in this 2x2x4 stack contain an object. Any creature in these squares can share a space with the post (gaining +2 AC bonus if not wrapped up in a net), and any creature can try to climb the post in and to any of those squares. Also, because of the long delays in this game, I think it not unlikely that everyone has by now forgotten OOC that it has been pretty well established that slashing and piercing damage has proved less than effective against the creature![/sblock]
