If he's not cool enough with it, you can use the SRD to organize the rules into a format where you only have the stuff thats relevant to your character, and in a way tat you can find everything...which was the point of the suggestion. YMMV, and all that. The ideal guy I want to play with knows how the spell works when his turn comes around. Either he knows it by heart, or he's already got reference ready, whether that be a spell card or a PHB open to the page. Then again, I'd also like to live in a world with no wars, or poverty, or intolerance, or disease...</blockquote>
