Tact-Tiles?

Anybody have any word on these? They've been sold out for a while now (just check today, last time I check was over a month ago and they were sold out then as well). Are they still making these, or has BC Products gone the way of the dodo? It'd be a shame; they're a great product and I'd like to get my hands on some.

If they are out of commission indefinitely, can anyone recommend similar type of dry-erase battle mat?

If I was Paizo, I would be all over trying to buy Tact-Tiles.

Since the issue seems to have been finding a manufacturer who can do it for a reasonable cost, I doubt Paizo getting the rights would help. Someone still has to make them.

I suspect that Paizo has more resources and contacts than BP Products (I think that's the right name). Plus, I would expect it to benefit both sides if they struck up a deal like the Steel Sqwire guys did.

Of course, finding a manufacturer is critical to the whole thing. I'm just saying that Paizo might be a great ally in that quest.

This is wet erase but it sectional lke tact-tiles.

Lowes has 10" x 8" tiles of lexan/plexiglass. Get a thin permanent marker and make squares on one side. I also got some felt tabs from Lowes and put them on this side. On the other side you can use wet-erase markers.

It will end up being much cheaper than Tact-Tiles.

Paizo is selling Steel Squire's Flip mats - these are excellent. They have a fantasy inn and a ship scene also in addition the hex/square printed one. Wet/Dry/Permanent markers all erase on these. They are way less bulky than Tac-Tiles, which makes them easy to transport.

If Tac-tiles are not available then you might want to look at Paizo.com for the Flip-mats.
