Tactics: Creating a Shifty Fighter

I was looking at Tactical Feats as an interesting idea for a shifty swashbucklery sailor type character (Rouge/Swashbuckler, possibly later Dualist and/or Dread Pirate). I found 2 interesting ones so far, Elusive Target from Complete Warrior, and Roofwalker from Races of Destiny (Roofwalker seems to fit well on a ship as well, especialy if you jump around and use terain a lot). Any other good ones out there to consider?

I also want to know any good tactics, abilities, feats, skill, ect that fit well into this type of character. I don't want to min/max or munchkin everything, but build a fun shifty bouncy character.

1. I don't have any of those books, so I can't help you with those feats.

2. Talk to your DM. A swashbuckling character generally has a lot of mobility power - the ability to jump up, easily, onto low ledges, balance on narrow stone stairs, etc.

Make sure your DM is on the same page with you in terms of giving you chances to use such abilities - as in, combat will occur in places that are not 10x10 rooms with flat floors.

It's going to be likely some ship/sailing and maybe some other land/town based combat, so I'll talk with him a bit.
