Tagged post returning 404 error

I noticed I was tagged in a post (here), but when I clicked on it. I got this error:

Oops! We ran into some problems.​

The requested thread could not be found.

But it seems to be an actual post. The only thing I could think of was an ignore list issue, but if I'm remembering, even with someone on ignore, you still saw the thread, you just didn't see the person's post. Did that change? Or am I totally misremembering?

Unfortunately, that behavior changed a while back with an update, and is outside our control.

I'm not sure I understand. Does this mean that if the last poster has ignored me, the thread 404s for me until someone else posts? Or is it only if I click a link for points to that particular post, and if I click a link to the thread, or another post in the thread the link will open the thread as usual? Thanks BC

My understanding based on Umbran's post is if the person who created the thread is on your ignore list and/or they ignored you, then you won't be able to see the thread.

Not just that they are ignoring you, but they have 2-way ignore on as their setting for ignore behavior. This is, I think, the default setting.

Yeah my question is about 2-way ignore killing a whole thread. Doesn't make sense to me that someone can create a thread where a member of the community can't read any of the posts.

Or worse, that the creator of a thread can in effect boot you out of that thread by ignoring you, after you've already posted in it.

@Umbran, while this problem is out of ENWorld's control, it's still an ongoing issue. Do you know if any feedback on this problem has gone Xenforo's way, in hopes that they'll fix it?
