Thank you all for the advice! I ran the first two encounters of the module last night with my group, and it was pretty eye opening. I was having trouble accessing the forums here, so I hadn't read any of these tips before running it. The party consists of a Half-elf Warlord, Eladrin Avenger from PHB2, Eladrin Wizard and a Dragonborn Fighter. A good balance, but fairly dependent on the party working together. The second encounter was especially tough with the 3 Dragonshields, the Skirmisher and the Wyrmpriest. The group really started acting like they would have in 3.5, splitting up, scattering around and not worrying about potential abilities that the other party members might have to help them. The fighter charged in ahead of everyone, and was knocked unconcious in one round. I had to fudge some rolls with the Wyrmpriest's powers to esure that they made it through. The party is learning quickly that they need to work together more than they ever did in 3.5. I did build quite a bit of roleplaying time during the hook (used the 'mapping the keep' hook) and in Winterhaven. The party now has a decent rapport with Salvana, Paidraig, Delphina, Valthus and even Ninaran. So far, it hasn't been thrilling, but it has been very good for learning the combat rules, at least. After the game, the group agreed that the rules seemed interesting, it certainly seems to help the burnout, so it's been a success so far. I'll read all of your links as well and grab the new PDF. I was using the published version before. Thanks again, this has been very helpful!
