Well guess what? You can't! There are groups of kindred out there who make a tidy business enforcing the "laws" of what is known as The Masquerade. All you need to know for now is to keep a low profile and don't let humans know that you're a vampire. Otherwise that's the number one way to get some real powerful angry vampires all over your ass! You can still be destroyed and I'm sure you know the basics: fire and sunlight will kill you and hurt a lot while doing it. A stake through the heart is not fatal like in the movies but you will be paralyzed. You can also starve to death. Given a choice between starving and fire, I would choose fire. There is one thing worse than starving, drinking the blood of another kindred three times binds you to them as though they are the only thing that matters in your life."</p><p></p><p>Tony takes a deep breath "And there you have it, Vampire 101.
