Koln stops his string of questions, wanting to appear as polite as possible and resisting the urge to turn this into an interrogation of Edward; it would not make sense to interrogate the guy that is asking us to track down Bothwell. If Edward knows anything that would be helpful, he should be more than happy to pass it on. Koln knows this, and this is why he is not reaching for his gun for once.I had more questions, but I want these answered first, they're the most obvious and helpful.
