[Talisman] - Anyone played this with kids under 10?

Title says it all.

I'm thinking of playing with my kids (7 & 8), but was curious if anyone else has done this and what the results were.

The recommended age on the box is 13+.

We played - it went fine.

There are a few terms that the kids didn't know - like "pestilence" - but with an adult playing as well, there was no problem. The kids understood the concepts and gameplay.

I think it really depends on your children, but with an adult there it should be fine.

The recommended age on the box is 13+.

The recommended age is 13+ because of anti-lead laws recently passed by a bipartisan Congress. Any product (CDs, toys, hand knitted clothing, shoes, bikes, pens) intended to be sold to children under the age of 13 as the primary target demographic needs to have every single part certified as lead free by a lab or have peer-reviewed science published that your product is not contaminated.

So, instead makers of games just slap a "for ages 13+" on it, and voilà.
