Tarrasque question: Why is he invincible?

Anubis

First Post
Yes, Tarrasque is invincible. Here's how:

1) Regeneration 40; the book says specifically that NOTHING bypasses the regeneration.

2) Coup de Gras should kill unconscious regenerating creatures; Tarrasque can't be knocked out, and "instant death" attacks only take him down to -10.

3) In order to be killed, Tarrasque must be taken down to -30 and then hit with a Wish; there is NO WAY to get Tarrasque down to -30 because NOTHING does normal damage, and "instant death" attacks only take him down to -10, meaning you SOMEHOW have to deal 20 more damage before you can hit the Wish.

4) I thought about Antimagic Field, but all of Tarrasque's abilities are Extraordinary and thus are not affected.

5) Why CR 20? This is the Godzilla of D&D! I would place this at CR 100 MINIMUM.

Why is this thing invincible, or how do you kill it?

Because it's a big joke by the peeps at WotC. Gotta have something that a player can't kill, right?

Um...you are aware that the Tarrasque has been around since First Edition, right? It first appeared in the 1e MM2 back in 1983 long before WotC even existed.

Uh, yeah. But what's your point? I said "WotC" because they are the current publishers of the D&D product line. Ya' know, you're not really setting a good example for politeness, seeing as how you're an administrator and all. What's with the rudeness?
