I was able to meet up with a fine gentleman from Caira. It's one of the smaller of the Landadel Baronies, I believe, but their work with a loom? Fabulous! I couldn't believe my luck when he told me that he knew a Caira weaver just finishing a gorgeous cloth. The prices were exorbitant, however, and he crassly demanded a king's ransom for the fabric! But oh, your uncle Tilsit never backs down from a challenge, oh no no no! I simply demanded that he deliver the velvet to me as soon as possible, just as soon as last night! He blanched. My goodness, I never saw a human go quite that shade of chartreuse so quickly! He stuttered in shock, saying the delivery could never go so quickly, but I reminded him that I had other suppliers, and that if he couldn't meet my schedule, I could just as easily turn to a bolt of lesser price on the more leisurely schedule. Greed got the better of him in the end, and he agreed. Ah, the tragedy of human nature! No offense to present company, of course! As to where the velvet is right now, it is undoubtedly on the path to Caira from Venza. Simply take the main road east out of town, turn south at Baron's Cross, follow the path around the Tenebrous Wood and... Oh, oh dear... I suppose if they were desperate enough, they could attempt to go through the Tenebrous Wood... oh, but that would be treacherous... O tragedy! O agony! Will I ever receive my velvet!"
