Some time later after having spent some time resting and recovering what spells he had lost in managing to get to this place. Veniarus returns down to the main lobby of the Inn. He had sent Kalius back to the plane that is his home so that Kalius can rest and recuperate himself while Veniarus was recovering. Once down in the common room, Veniarus tracks down one of the waitresses and asks for a drink. While she is doing that he finds himself a seat. Once he is by himself he pulls out his spell component pouch and takes out a small vial with a red liquid inside. Examining it he smiles to himself. This vial had been recently been refilled. The vial itself has a special anti-coagulation substance in it so as to prevent the blood from hardening. But this substance is also made in such a way as to prevent interference in the spell that it is designed for. Unfortunately the vial has to be refilled on occassion, and the vial itself is not nearly enough to perform some of the rituals that a summoner is required to perform to be capable of doing their job. As the waitress moves towards him with his drink, Veniarus quickly stows the vial so as to not worry the poor girl. his hand still had a red spot where he had pierced it with the needle. But the wound had stopped bleeding long ago. The wound was such a superficial wound that it was barely noticeable. With his drink in hand, Veniarus begins planning his next move. He wasn't quite sure what he was going to do. But something told him he would have to find some sort of job to get some money if he were going to survive in this city. This is unlike the wilderness where he was able to survive by sheer instinct and with the aid of his summon. Here he had to be more careful about how he went about surviving. Here he would need money, friends, and help if he is going to survive.
