Reaching as far over the bar as he can with his big, meaty hand, he grasps in a futile gesture in the direction of the newcomer, barely covering a fraction of the distance it would take to hand her a drink from the bar, and coughs loudly and obviously.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><u>Marla the Barmaid</u></p><p>[align=left]http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140311033257/livingpf/images/e/ec/Marla150.jpg[/align]Stirred from whatever she was doing by the bartender's signal, the barmaid walks behind him as she heads out to the floor, punching him in the shoulder with a dull thud on the way by. <span style="color: #ff0000">"Drama queen,"</span> she comments. The big man just shrugs and sets the book down, picking up a damp cloth and wiping the bar down.</p><p></p><p>Walking to Leira's table briskly, she woman fiddles with her hair, as if a practiced nervous habit. However, her short mop does not cover up the two small protrusions… horns. Finally at the table, she smiles with the kind of smile that is both gracious and tired and introduces herself, <span style="color: #ff0000">"I'm Marla. The guy at the bar practicing for his debut performance at the playhouse is Grog. What will you be having?"</span></p></blockquote><p></p>
