From what the wizards told me afterwards, it's the shield that protects us from the gate to the Abyss. So, our mission was to go in, find out what happened to Demonscope, and repair it if necessary. We sneaked in via a passage way that connected the grand cathedral to an old storage facility inside the fort. We ran into some more demons along the way, and one of our team seemed to have died before Kutholiam brought him back. However, we finally got into the fort . We flew around the outside of the fort, out of sight of the other demons that were still inside the fort, and manged to get inside the main hall of the fort. I think that is around the time the General's army arrived, so they did cause a slight diversion, although I don't think it was intentional."</span></p> <p style="margin-left: 100px"><span style="color: #00FF00"></span></p> <p style="margin-left: 100px"><span style="color: #00FF00">"We had one little skirmish on the stairs as we tried to descend to where the Demonscope was, but thankfully the Demonscope's power kicked on when we were supposed to fight another set, and made the demons literally disappear. Once we got inside, Kutholiam and the wizard tried to get the Demonscope only while the rest of us stood around hoplessly, trying to make sure the Balor demon trapped inside did not escape. 3 of the wizards figured out that the relic's holding the Balor back were not in the proper sequence. One that sequence was reset, the shield came on in full force." </span> Aradra instinctively blinks, remembering how bright that light was when the Demonscope's power kicked back on.</p> <p style="margin-left: 100px"></p> <p style="margin-left: 100px"><span style="color: #00FF00">"From what I heard after words, apparently some of the paladins were mind controlled, and they were used to swap the relics on the on the Demonscope, therefore weakening it and allowing some demon's to go through the gate.
