Technical problems preparing a demo PDF.

I'm making a demo .pdf for my product and can't figure out how to get the full bookmarks and table of contents included. ( I'm using Word BTW).

Could someone please let me know the procedure for doing this? Any help is much appreciated.

If I understand you correctly, one thing you could do is generate the full PDF with TOC and bookmarks, then just delete the pages you don't want to appear in the demo. Of couse, you'll want to splash "DEMO" in big letters somewhere on your title page, too.

That's what I was thinking, but I can't seem to delete pages from the PDF. A have it set to "No Security" and I can copy and paste, I just can't cut (other than single lines of text via the "touch up" tool). I'll go through the help and what not again...


This is with Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0,


EDIT: Ok, it looks like I found the solution - you can delete pages by deleting their thumbnail image; and the bookmarks seem to remain. Thanks for the help!

Using Acrobat, you have a DOCUMENT menu where you can delete pages.
