Message: <blockquote data-quote="IronWolf" data-source="post: 2035612" data-attributes="member: 21076">As others have already said, don't be too quick to discount GenCon because of the family.  Last year my wife and 8 month old went.  They had a great time.  My son got to meet his first Stormtroopers and Darth Maul actually held him for a picture!  While a friend and I gamed they hit the mall and enjoyed the city a little.  (we were only there for one day last year).This year they have plans to hit a large number of the downtown attractions - the zoo, the canal walkway, etc, etc.  So it will be a good time for all, at least in out case.For that matter when the time draws closer there could be an EnWorld family meetup where the non-gamers head to the zoo and hang out, letting the kids play together.</blockquote>
