I am involved with 3 groups currently. Group number 1 We have been playing together as a group for nearly seven years. Me: Male, 39 software tester. Male, 31 or 32. He is software developer. (He and I used to work together. He actually helped me get my current job) I have known him for nine years. Female, 28, full time house wife and mother of three with number four on the way. She is married to the software developer. Current DM Male, 37 works at a hospital. I have actually been gaming with him for around ten or eleven years. Female, age unknown. (I know she is older than I am but I have never asked her.) She is a school teacher and she is married to the 37 year old male. Like her husband, I have been gaming with her for ten or eleven years. Female, age unknown. Early 30’s I think. She has more than one job. We are playing 3.5 with no plans to switch to 4th edition. Group number 2 We have been playing together for three years. Male early 30’s. He works for a cement company. He is very talented guy. He makes AWESOME terrain. Female early 30’s. Housewife, and mom of three. She is married to the guy that works the cement company. DM, Male early 20’s. I have dice older than he is! I’m not sure what he does for a living but he gets to travel all over the world. He has been to the Middle East and is currently in Australia. Female, early 20’s. I have dice older than she is! She is married to the DM and she works for a cement company. Male, early 30’s. He is graduate student and works in lab. We are playing 3.5 with no plans to switch to 4th edition. Currently, we are in Necromancer Games “City of Brass.” We started out with a heavily modified “Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil” Group number 3 We have been playing together for around six months. This was an open game at FLGS that I joined on whim and I have enjoyed it every much. I have become friends with the other players but I really don’t know that much about their lives outside of the game. DM, Male, late 20’s. Works at a food processing plant. His son. He is around 8. Male, early to mid 20’s. He works for the state group home. Male, early to mid 20s’. Works with the DM. Male, 39. I don’t know what he does for a living. His son played with us once but he wanted to play 4th edition so he dropped out. Male, early 40’s. I don’t know what he does for a living. I think that he is a salesman and likely a pretty good one. We are playing 3.5 with plans of possible going to 4th edition, although if we do, we will likely lose at least two of the “geezers”. (Me and the guy in his early 40’s)
