There are some that might be close to what you have in mind in some 3rd party books, like the Advanced Bestiary (Green Ronin) or Book of Templates (Silverthorne). And Blind Beholder seems very similar to the Beholder Mage from WotC's own products (Monsters of Faerun and Lords of Madness, IIRC).

But are there specific ones you want tackled?

Funny I own both of those (plus Bodies and Souls, Template Troves 1-3 and Flock of Foes) and I tried to avoid those ideas. 4D is meant to be for critters that can move in both 4th dimentions (something the mindbender can't do). Blind beholder has no functional eyes and has adapted its magic in some other manner.

And these are meant for your use. If you want to post any results from fiddling with them, cool.
