He was a fun character to see roleplayed, because it was a GREAT roleplayer playing him. The only catch is wings can be a pain to take into acount when adventure building, but that was my fault, not the templates. Although IMC the "divine" type templates are a touch different do the cosmology of my world. Mostly minor stylistic ones, but you don't become an outsider.On the other hand, I have a race of elves that I apply the celestial and fiendish templates to (Without the alignment modifications)... No wings possible, either. About 75% of the population has the celestial template, the other has fiendish. These are my campaign settings "noldor" if you will... A very rare breed of elf. There is nothing divine or unholy about them, I just use the templates for power boosts. That works out pretty good, in fact.</blockquote>
