Temple Quarter deity GH equivalents

I'm asking this here, as opposed to The Game Mechanics boards, since I have a hunch EN World gets a bit more traffic.

Anyway, I'm looking at using TGM's awesome city of Liberty as the starting point for a new campaign I'm working up for my daughter and a few of her friends. I am using the Core Rules only to start with since none have played the game before.

What I'm looking for is a good list of how the deities presented in "Temple Quarter" match up with the various Greyhawk deities. If anyone has such a list, I would love to see it.

That book's packed away for me. Is there anyway you could post the Temple Quarter list of Gods? I'm sure there are plenty of GH fans who could help you out once they have that information.

Interesting question! I mentioned this briefly in my RPGNow comments.

I'd assign them as follows:

Lod: I don't think he has a close Greyhawk equivalent, at least partly because Temple Quarter approaches much closer to henotheism (the acceptance of one god as preeminent) than most of the Greyhawk setting. You could elevate and broaden the description of Pelor, Heironeous or Pholtus.

Sem: Kord

Vig: Boccob

Tur: No close equivalent in the core deities. His temple could be a variant sect of Boccob or Vecna.

Apon: Pelor

Ilaia: Fharlanghn

Syrnia: Could be a variant of Yondalla

Lani: Corellon Larethian

Umit: St. Cuthbert

Osai: A variant sect of Pelor

Mol: Vecna or Boccob

Ur-Argo: No close equivalent in the core deities, probably Heironeous

Angrom: Moradin

Ballyclack: Garl Glittergold or another appropriate gnome deity

Brosti: Possibly Yondalla or Pelor

Carduci: Obad-Hai

Dinra: Olidammara

Esmerna: Of the core deities, probably Obad-Hai

Kraug: A variant of Kord or Obad-Hai

Marin: Possibly Fharlanghn

Rija: Heironeous

Tanlo: Olidammara

Ulariel: Possibly Boccob or Olidammara

Lolga: From the core deities she would be a variant of Obad-Hai

The Ancient Grove: If any deity is associated with this place it would be Obad-Hai.

Clearly, using the Greyhawk deities (with my suggestions or others) will raise some rather different, but equally complex, theological questions than those that divide the Temple Quarter as written.

Thanks, Starglim! I'll take a look at your RPGNow writeup. Do you have any ideas for using some of the non-core Greyhawk deities?

Sorry, I'm no expert - the main reason I could even name Pholtus is that I've taken over someone else's character who's a cleric of Pholtus.
