Hi Ari—somehow I missed meeting you while you were here at the office. I'm sorry about that. [/off topic] I like this show. I like Summer Glau as a protector cyborg. The cast is interesting, and the acting is pretty good. I’m glad to see Thomas Dekker (John Connor, also from the first season of Heroes) is getting more work. But, from the beginning, I've wondered how easy the show will be to write for, and how long fighting Skynet's minions will remain interesting. A proliferation of Terminators isn't that attention grabbing, and the same Terminator showing up again and again is just lame. For this show to have any staying power, it's going to have to break out of its own milieu restrictions quickly. They have a good angle with the FBI agent and some side-plot characters. We’ll see how they shape up. I'm hoping Agent Ellison doesn't develop what I like to call Dana Scully Syndrome. Denial is powerful, but denial in the face of evidence is certifiable delussional behavior. A plot arch where he has to come to terms with a growing belief in killer robots is cooler than one where he never has to choose between his career and the truth. All this said, I can see many directions the show might go. A show that evolves to depict the resistance war against Skynet could be pretty sweet. Fast Learner, I feel what you do about Bionic Woman. It just never got interesting.
