Raimi's slicker than that and it's also a perfect red herring. However dad's research could be used to create some 'Spider slayers' (intentional or accidental) like the Sandman or the Scorpion. Heck, what about Topher as the Vulture?Ya know, Kirsten did say that there was a 'lizard thingy' or something to that effect in the next movie. To someone unfamiliar with the character, the Scorpion looks kinda like a lizard. Curt Conners was just a smoke screen for another curveball (no Lizard). Further, Matt Gargan was kinda scrawny before JJJ had him zapped into the Scorpion. My guess: Topher Grace as the Scorpion in Spiderman III.</blockquote>
