Alkatyri Flavour: The Alkatyri are an organization based in Farhaven that is over 1000 years old. Originally created as an elite, elven-only protection force the colonial city of Farhaven, the mission of the Alkatyri changed from protecting the more advanced culture from the semi-barbarous peoples, to helping the spread of civilization throughout the known world. The Alkatyri are wizards, warriors and diplomats concurrently. The ranks of the Alkatyri have swelled to include members of every intelligent race, although because of the demography of Farhaven the group is composed of mostly human, elves, and halflings. The types of people that join the Alkatyri are equally diverse as the only class-specific ability required is arcane magic. Prereqs: +5 BAB Ability to cast 2nd level spells Combat Casting Nalanniel (Gaining this feat is equivalent to becoming an initiate) Expertise Spellcraft +6 Diplomacy +4 Any Non-Evil Must receive training from a fully trained Alkatiri, also acceptance by Alkatiri organization, unless teacher is a rebel, in which case so is student. Armoured Casting – Subtract the amounted listed from casting failure; stacks with Armoured Casting the feat, but only works while in light armour or less and with or without a shield Alkatyri Casting Mastery – When casting defensively the Alkatyri may take “10” on their concentration check, but only works while in light armour or less and with or without a shield. Alkatyri Weapon Mastery – Alkatyri may add ½ his or her Int modifier rounded down to any attack role with the Nalanniel weapon. Alkatyri Weapon Channelling – Alkatyri may create a weapons enchantment that is not attached to any particular weapon.
