The man standing in the front of the boat and calling up is dressed in merchant blues.  He is middle-aged, balding, overweight, sweaty, and red-faced.  The embroidered badge on his left breast proclaims him as a master merchant, though he is too far away to make out of which guild."Your ship has cut us off in our pursuit.  You must move it at once." The man is rather self-important, in an unctuous sort of way.</blockquote>
