The last Irregular, bleeding from a couple of dagger-wounds, begins to back away. {He will flee unless Dan wishes to press the attack.} Inside, The magical grease finally evaporates, filling the air with a sharp, pungent stench that brings water to your eyes. Edwin looks up at Issac and Drehluk, and smiles weakly. The thought of losing his eyes or his hands - not to mention the two blades poised above his lanky body - has obviously given him a change of heart. "Eh, well... no 'arm no foul, right?" he says. "You an' yours all looks to be okay, so hows about you lads let me up? I'll play nice, by the Nine Hells. You lads jumped us, leastwise you forget. Yer gang's all flushed now. The Corners belong to us." Alex steps past Edwin and into the Grin, looking around the small, filthy pub for Edwin's reluctant companion. "Hey lady. It's OK now," he calls out. "They're taken care of." The red-headed lass peers out from behind the table she had gone to hide behind. Seeing that Edwin is down and the other Irregulars are gone, she stands up. There is a look of righteous indignation written plainly upon her face. "Thanks to you, good sirs," she says, grudgingly. Her voice is smooth, her tone cultured - the difference between her words and the gutter cant spoken by most Hivers is immediately apparent. "Perhaps you will let me buy you a drink; a paltry reward for your valor, but it is, I'm afraid, all that I have to offer you." Edwin smirks.
