The Banewarrens in the Realms

I'm about to run the Banewarrens in the FR. the PCs are currently in Daggerdale. Has anyone got any suggestions as to where to place the Warrens/Ptolus? Any FR replacements for the factions involved?

You might want to try Sembia, perhaps Ordlin. I know it's not as close as you'd like but certainly not a bad place...

I used baldurs gate.

The spire reversed into a sinkhole into the underdark.

It worked so far.

While I haven't run it yet, I plan on placing it as one of the larger cities in the Vilhon Reach.

I ran a "heavily" modified version of it in Waterdeep, with the warrens as a "closed off" section of Undermountain. The factions were Inverted Pyramid: Khelben just got going, in partnership with the head of the Church of Mystra. The noble families were simply noble families from Waterdeep. Change the paladin order to be from Tyr. Use the Pactlords verbatim, they rule.

If you're in Daggerdale now, I'd probably suggest one of the cities north, perhaps off of the Moonsea.
